The Global Good Fund is currently working with Goodwill Industries of East Texas<\/a> in running a 7 month leadership development program for minority small business owners in East Tyler, Texas. Through group coaching and mentoring, participants foster collaboration and peer-to-peer learning while engaging in personal leadership growth. Interspersed throughout the program are several business skills webinars to provide additional learnings and growth for the participants. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The program launched in March and will continue until October 2021. The program started with the 360 Mirror assessment to determine strengths and areas for growth for each participant. After the 360 Assessment, the participants engaged in group coaching sessions where the 360 results are interpreted and turned into  leadership development plans, while collaborating and engaging with their peers. Starting in July, participants will move on to the mentoring sessions to work on implementing their leadership development plans. These participants will be mentored by Global Good Fund Alumni: Gail Robinson of Robinson Business Solutions<\/a>, Makeda Ricketts of Pink Think<\/a>, Margo Baines of Youth Enrichments<\/a>, Patrick Alcorn of UTAVBOC<\/a>, Ange Muyubira of Kaz\u2019O\u2019zah Art<\/a>, and Charlene Brown of CNA Simulations VR<\/a>.  The mentoring wraps up in September and the program concludes in October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The program aims to support these minority business owners in advancing their leadership capacity, enhancing their business management and growth skills and creating a community of peers who serve as a support system throughout their entrepreneurial journey. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
